This foundation course enables you to expand your treatment menu and offer your clients a more extensive range of nail services using the unsurpassed OPI enhancement systems. Includes an introduction to the OPI gel systems.

- Structure of the nail and Physiology & Anatomy of the hand & arm
- Full client consultation
- Salon hygiene, COSSH and sanitation
- Contraindications – diseases and disorders
- Nail plate preparation
- Tip application and blending
- OPI acrylic pink & white overlay and sculpting
- Application of the MicroWrap future fibre system
- An introduction to the OPI gel systems
- Infill and re-balancing techniques
- The safe removal of enhancements
- Lacquer application and finishing
- Full OPI product knowledge
- Industry background information
- Business hints and tips
- Retailing and link-selling skills
you will need:
- To compile a portfolio of written and photographic evidence of treatments
- To complete a written exam and practical assessment in OPI acrylic and MicroWrap systems
duration:
- 6 day course over an 8 week period
- 9.45am – 4.30pm daily
